One of the greatest challenges fresh graduates face is the experience paradox: every opportunity demands experience, yet very few are willing to provide the space to gain it. For many of us, this felt like a closed door.
Then came the Nyandu Spark Initiative (NSI).
NSI looked beyond résumés and saw potential. It trusted our abilities, gave us room to learn, grow, make mistakes, improve, and prove ourselves. Under the leadership of Nyandu Spark Initiative’s founder, who became a bridge connecting fresh graduates to the realities of the professional world, and alongside a team eager to serve, we built foundations strong enough to leave meaningful footprints wherever we go.
Watching this small women‑led initiative grow into a vibrant youth‑led movement has been nothing short of inspiring. Over the past year, NSI has not only transformed communities but also transformed young professionals – nurturing talent, creating opportunities, and turning potential into experience.
As NSI celebrates its first anniversary, I celebrate an organization that believed in us before the world did. Thank you for investing in fresh graduates, for opening doors many thought were closed, and for proving that sometimes all a young person needs is someone willing to say, “We believe in you.”
